If you work at a desk, chances are you’re familiar with wrist pain. Whether from typing too much or using a mouse for hours on end, wrist pain is a common ailment for office workers. But there are some easy things you can do to prevent wrist pain before it starts.
First, make sure your keyboard and mouse are at the proper height. When you type or use your mouse, your wrists should be in a neutral position, so raise or lower your chair or desk as needed. You may also want to invest in an ergonomic keyboard and mouse to reduce strain on your wrists. Finally, take regular breaks to stretch your wrists and hands. Get up and walk around regularly, and try some simple exercises like clenching your fists or bending your wrists back and forth.
Following these tips can help prevent wrist pain and stay comfortable while you work.
